Academic CentreWithin the framework of the activity, the development of at least five study modules and courses intended for the acquisition of international high-level digital skills in the field of natural language processing is planned, including the wider integration of the content of these skills into the study content of various fields, as well as the creation of the necessary language resources and tools. The study and modules are available at the University of Latvia (UL) and the Riga Technical University.

Natural language processing module for Computer science BSP
The aim of the module is to prepare high-level specialists in language technologies (LT), who are able to create solutions for LT problems and applications and are well prepared for the changing development of the industry, within the framework of bachelor's studies (BSP).
THE HUMANITIES FACULTY OF THE UL
Latvian BSP and English, European languages and business studies BSP study courses
The aim of the study module is to build knowledge, skills and competence in digital humanities in the fields related to Latvian and English studies in order to develop and improve the ability to solve complex linguistic problems related to language use, learning and research, using various language resources and digital tools of text analysis.
English MSP module
The aim of the module is to provide in-depth knowledge, skills and competence for the use of language technologies in the field of linguistics and literary studies in areas related to English studies, which are necessary for professional activities in the modern digital age and the labor market, in the use of the English language, literature, language learning and translation.
Latvian language, literature and culture studies MSP module
The aim of the module is to provide in-depth knowledge, skills and competence for the use of language technologies in the field of linguistics and literary studies in areas related to Latvian studies - in the understanding of the phonetic, morphemic and morphonological system of the Latvian language, in modern analysis and use - which are necessary for the development of synthesis and analysis of thinking abilities, systemic linguistic broadening horizons, improving data processing skills, which in turn will contribute to a possible successful entry into the labor market.
The courses included in the module allow students to learn the skills of using modern language technologies and tools and to use these tools for the creation, accumulation, processing and analysis of diverse language data sets (databases, corpora).
Linguistics DSP module
The aim of the module is to improve the research and academic competence of doctoral students for independent and innovative research activities in the field of language technologies: language data retrieval and processing, development of language technology modules, improvement of language learning and translation technologies, skillfully using the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence.
