University of Latvia is the leading partner of this initiative. The UL not only monitors, coordinates and manages the project. but also develops many new high-level courses.
 
Riga Technical University is the leading engineering research institution in Latvia, which sets interdisciplinary excellence in science and academic activity as one of its goals. The faculty and researchers of RTU have unique competences and the expert status in all subfields of computer science and ICT, as well as language technology, digital humanities, translation studies and special-purpose language teaching and research.

The Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Latvia provides research capacity in the project, as its Artificial Intelligence Laboratory "AiLab" is the leading research centre in the field of language technologies and resources in Latvia and the Baltics. "AiLab" has developed the most modern technologies and resources for the Latvian language, ensuring their compatibility with multilingual models. "AiLab" researchers also successfully participate in international multilingual technology research and innovation projects, as well as international language comprehension and generation problem-solving competitions.
 
Tilde is the leading European language technology company specialising in the development of language technologies for morphologically rich languages, offering innovative solutions for machine translation, intelligent virtual assistants, speech technologies and other natural language processing solutions. Tilde is the only company that has developed and offers natural language understanding, sequential dialogue management, speech recognition and voice synthesis technologies for Latvian language.
 
The Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (LU FLMI) is one of the leading humanities research institutions in Latvia, which received the highest rating in the international evaluation of scientific institutions. LU LFMI creates multimodal digital resources in traditional culture, literature and related sectors, and employs internationally oriented researchers who use language technologies and digital resources for the humanitites in their research. The multimodal digital resources for the humanitites created by LFMI have been widely used in research, education, as well as in society in general.
