The aim of the module is to provide in-depth knowledge, skills and competence in the use of language technologies in linguistics and literary studies related to Latvian studies – in understanding the phonetic, morphemic and morphophonemic system of the Latvian language, in modern analysis and usage – which are necessary for the development of thinking skills, synthesis and analysis, broadening the systemic linguistic horizon, and improving data processing skills, which in turn will contribute the possibility of a successful integration into the labor market.

The courses included in the module allow students to acquire skills in using modern language technologies and tools and to use these tools for the creation, accumulation, processing and analysis of diverse language data sets (databases, corpora).
