As part of the 83rd annual international scientific conference of the University of Latvia, a plenary session “Innovative Information Technologies” will be held in person on January 31, 2025 at 2:30 PM, where groups of scientists from the Department of Computer Science will present an overview of their research and achievements in the past year.
We would like to especially invite you to attend the presentation “Capabilities of Open Large Language Models in Latvian Language Comprehension and Text Creation”, which will be delivered by Roberts Darģis, Artūrs Znotiņš, Inguna Skadiņa, Guntis Bārzdiņš, Normunds Grūzītis and Mikus Grasmanis, and in which the achievements of the Language Technology Initiative will also be represented.
